What can you do to help?

1. Join the team in 2009. Expect to pay about $1500 in addition to your air travel. The gorillas are an additional $500 plus travel to and from the Butare hotel.

Bring with you things the children will enjoy (card games, athletic equipment, balloons, pens, pencils, etc.) as well as any surplus clothing you might want to eliminate.

The team is forming a 501(c)(3) non profit, Friends of Butare, to insure that donations are tax deductible.

2. Write a check!

3. Investigate the "one" project (www.one.org) which promises to eliminate poverty within 10 years by educating every child in the world.
